So, here goes. Been thinking of doing this for a few years and have actually started a few times...I'm not a genius when it comes to maneuvering my way around my laptop, but I've figured out a lot on my IPad and my fancy phone since then, so I feel a bit more comfortable this time around. The name "A Mom in the Moonlight" came to me just recently. My degree is in Interior Design but I chose to stay home (hard choice, I like to work) to be with my boys. I began a small home business named Moonthistle Design to express my creativity while they were young. I read a lot of stories to them when they were little like "Goodnight Moon" and worked a lot when they were asleep and the moon was shining bright in the vast dark sky. Now that they are older yet still in school I find that I'm making double batches of chocolate chip cookies for their homemade lunches, and to take to school for their friends while I'm peaking out my kitchen window at the moon beginning its decent in the west before the sun takes over in the east. My oldest goes to early morning seminary and I make him a hot breakfast everyday before he leaves at 6:30 am while the moon is still smiling. Thus the name "A Mom in the Moonlight."
